Great Escapes Travel Club exists for one reason: To high-pressure sell people a bunch of NOTHING, making sure that you sign on the dotted line and then to collect thousands of dollars (plus interest) for that nothing through the collection arm of Resort Management International. I believe that Resort Management International collects for any number of other companies that may or may not be affilliated with Great Escapes, but operating under the same principles (or lack thereof).
The reason they can get away with it are that people let them. The best way to avoid problems with organizations like this are to NEVER get involved with them in the first place. Hopefully, by people sharing their stories here, you will see why that is good advice.
